Ronaldo Confirms He Will Stay with Al-Nassr

Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr, confirmed that he expects to win a trophy with his team this season and revealed that he will continue with the club. In a conversation with the Saudi League, Ronaldo mentioned: "I was nervous on my first day here; the stadium was full and my family was with me in a new environment, but now I am more comfortable and adapted. My presentation ceremony was amazing; it was one of the best moments of my football career."

He continued: "My expectations were slightly different. I expected us to win a title this year, but things don’t always go as we expect or hope. The team has improved a lot recently, as has the league; all teams have improved. If you have faith, then anything is possible in my opinion. I am optimistic and confident that things will change next year, and we will move in a better direction."

Ronaldo added: "The Saudi League is very good and competitive, but there are many opportunities for development. There are some things that need improvement, like referees and VAR; they need to be a bit quicker. I am happy here and want to stay. In my opinion, if they continue to work on their plans over the next five years, I believe the league will become one of the top five leagues in the world."

Ronaldo sent a message to his fans and followers, saying: "Thank you very much for your support every year, not just on the field and during matches, but also outside of football. I will be part of your culture, and I will be here with you. I hope that people enjoy my performance and that I win titles."
