HMS Diamond Defends Against Drone Attack in the Red Sea

British officials announced that the British warship HMS Diamond successfully repelled a drone attack launched by the Houthi group from Yemen in the Red Sea on Saturday. The British Ministry of Defence stated in a statement on Sunday: "HMS Diamond destroyed the drone targeting it using its Sea Viper missile system, with no damage to Diamond or injuries to its crew." The statement added: "These abhorrent and unlawful attacks are utterly unacceptable, and it is our duty to protect freedom of navigation in the Red Sea."
