The Disaster Management Unit in the Tyre District Municipal Union stated in a report that "the shortage in aid related to the displaced from border villages has started to impact the response to meet the needs of more than 16,000 displaced individuals present in Tyre and registered on official lists with the unit and organizations providing in-kind assistance to the displaced." It clarified that "as of yesterday, the actual number reached 16,276 displaced individuals spread across the villages of the district, and four shelters are functioning, with the unit collaborating with organizations to secure their needs within the available resources. This is particularly critical as the number of displaced individuals is increasing daily, especially with the onset of winter, which imposes additional burdens in terms of providing heating supplies in the shelters."
