The U.S. Department of Justice stated today, Wednesday, that "U.S. authorities have charged four Chinese nationals with crimes related to smuggling American-made electronic components to Iran." Matthew Olsen, Assistant Attorney General for National Security, mentioned in a statement, "For over a decade, the defendants allegedly conspired to smuggle U.S.-manufactured parts to the (Iranian Revolutionary Guard) and the Iranian agency accused of developing ballistic missiles and drones."
