Match Stopped Due to Racial Chants in Italian League

The match between Udinese and Milan, held today Saturday in the Italian Serie A, was temporarily stopped due to alleged racist chants directed at Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan by the home team fans. Maignan informed the referee before leaving the pitch after half an hour of play, followed by his teammates heading towards the tunnel leading to the locker rooms. The incident occurred shortly after Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored the opening goal for the visiting team with a low direct shot into the net. The match resumed approximately ten minutes after the stoppage.
