The Palestinian Hamas movement held a press conference in Lebanon today, Wednesday, regarding the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip and the massacre at the Baptist hospital. In this context, Hamas leader Osama Hamdan stated that "the massacre at the Baptist hospital is one of the most horrific massacres committed in modern times," clarifying that "the Israeli army is committing genocide against the people of Gaza with American support." He pointed out that "the Al-Aqsa Flood battle is a legitimate right for our people to defend themselves and their land," emphasizing that "our people's will to resist the Israeli army has not been broken, and their determination to defend their rights is increasing."
He continued: "We hold the American administration and Western countries fully responsible for the horrific massacres." Regarding the ability of the "Islamic Resistance" movement to endure amidst the siege Gaza faces, Hamdan confirmed to "Wardena" that "the capacity to endure is high, but the pain is severe as we are talking about 3,200 dead, 76% of whom are women and children, yet we remain steadfast." He concluded by saying, "I believe that our previous experiences have proven our ability to endure. We will continue and we will prevail, God willing."
