Iraq: Football Federation Decides to Cancel Punishments

The Iraqi Football Federation has decided to cancel the penalties imposed on coaches, players, administrators, and staff of sports clubs. A statement from the Football Federation released today, Wednesday, stated that "the Iraqi Football Federation, on the occasion of the launch of the Iraqi Stars League, has decided to cancel all penalties imposed on coaches, players, administrators, and staff of all sports clubs, without affecting the financial penalties imposed on any of them. None of those covered by this decision will benefit unless they settle the financial penalties outlined in the decisions issued by the committees of the Iraqi Football Federation."
