UAE Continues Humanitarian Support for the Palestinian People

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Saturday that "the UAE is working with international partners to ensure safe and sustainable humanitarian corridors for delivering aid to the Gaza Strip, and it continues its diligent communications to stop the escalation and provide immediate protection for civilians." The ministry, in a statement, added: "The UAE is also continuing its efforts to provide humanitarian and relief support to the Palestinian people in the health, food, and provision of clean water and shelter materials." As part of its humanitarian efforts, the ministry noted "the sending of 141 relief planes through the UAE air bridge to transport humanitarian supplies, 121 trucks to transport medical supplies and urgent food and relief aid, and a UAE aid ship carrying 4,016 tons of humanitarian supplies to the region."
