Mohammed bin Rashid Gifts a Girl a Set of Horses After Losing Her Mare

On Monday, UAE Vice President Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum ordered the gifting of a set of horses to Iraqi girl Lania Fakher, following the death of her mare, which led to her being seen in a video crying over it. He also directed support for her to establish a training center of her own. Lania, who is the youngest female jockey in Iraq at 8 years old, had lost her horse (Jassano), which her father had given her when she was five. The young rider indicated that her only horse had been ill recently, and she tried her best to help it by feeding and caring for it, despite her veterinarian's recommendations to keep her distance. She emphasized that, despite losing her dearest friend, she would never forget him. After her heartfelt and sorrowful tears over the loss of her horse and lifelong companion, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid ordered the gifting of horses to Lania and support for the establishment of her training center.
