This opening match is part of the tough second group, which also includes Tunisia, Morocco, and Kuwait. The UAE team, led by Dr. Munir Bin Habib, consists of captain Jasim Mohammed, Rashid Nasser Al-Zaabi, Rashid Salem, Qais Omar, Ahmed Abdul Latif, Hamad Abdul Latif, Omar Khalid Al-Amri, Mahmoud Waseem, Mohammed Asad, Mamadou N'Jai, Mohammed Ashour, Hassan Abdullah, Faisal Mohammed, and Abdulaziz Khalifa. It is worth noting that the UAE team will meet Egypt in the preliminary round on Tuesday, Morocco on Thursday, Tunisia on Friday, and Kuwait on Saturday.
