The International Monetary Fund reported that "its forecasts assume the continuation of the war in Gaza 'at a high intensity' throughout the first quarter of 2024." It added: "Estimates indicate a decline in real GDP growth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to around negative six percent" in 2023, a decrease of nine percentage points from the regional forecasts issued in October.
