Mayor of Sidon Confirms Teams Prepared to Address Impact of Heavy Rain

The Mayor of Sidon, Hazem Khidr Badi, announced that "emergency teams and municipal crews have been mobilized for the third consecutive day, working day and night to address the consequences of the heavy rains that have fallen in Sidon and its vicinity. These rains have caused water accumulation and flooding in several streets and neighborhoods of the city. The teams are working to reopen the drainage systems and gutters that have been clogged by debris and garbage bags swept away by the floods."
