The center added that "the earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers, and its epicenter is located 375 kilometers northeast of Kupang in Indonesia." On Saturday evening, a shallow M5.5 earthquake struck in the Banda Sea, 195 km from Atambua (Indonesia).
