The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that "Moscow sent a Su-30 fighter jet on Wednesday to escort two British Typhoon jets and a reconnaissance aircraft, the RC-135, over the Black Sea." According to the ministry, the two British aircraft changed their course away from the Russian border after the approach of the Su-30 fighter. Russia reported a similar incident involving French fighter jets on Tuesday.
