Two American officials revealed to Reuters that the United States carried out a series of strikes on Iran-linked targets in Yemen today, Saturday, in what appears to be the second day of retaliatory operations following the deaths of American soldiers in an attack last week. CNN reported, citing American officials, that "the United States and Britain bombed at least 30 Houthi targets at 10 locations." It noted that "the US-UK bombardment targeted underground weapon storage facilities and other arms used by the Houthis in attacks in the Red Sea." The Ansar Allah movement indicated that "the US-British attack targets the provinces of Sana'a, Hajjah, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda." Washington conducted attacks yesterday, Friday, in Iraq and Syria on more than 85 targets linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Iranian-backed factions, reportedly resulting in the deaths of about 40.
