The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, performed the funeral prayer for Prince Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz after the Friday afternoon prayer at the Grand Mosque in Mecca. Alongside the Crown Prince, those who prayed for the deceased included Prince Faisal bin Thamer bin Abdulaziz, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region. Also participating were Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Mecca Region, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Taif, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports, and Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz. Earlier, the Saudi royal court announced the passing of Prince Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, brother of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the thirty-first son of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.
