Leverkusen Snatches Equalizer Against Bayern

Bayer Leverkusen secured a penalty in stoppage time from Ezequiel Palacios to draw 2-2 against host Bayern Munich on Friday, ending the champion's victorious start. Palacios converted the penalty after Alfonso Davies brought down Jonas Hofmann. Bayern had taken the lead in the 86th minute through Leon Goretzka, who scored following an excellent early play by substitute Matthias Tell.
