The Algerian Ministry of Transport announced today, Tuesday, the resumption of air travel to both Lebanon and Syria after a suspension of several years. The ministry stated in a statement that, based on directives from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, it has been decided to reactivate air routes to the Republics of Lebanon and Syria as follows: Algiers - Beirut - Damascus - Algiers at a rate of one flight per week, starting December 21, 2023. The number of flights will be increased to two per week starting January 9, 2024.
