Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati congratulated the Lebanese people in general, and Muslims in particular, on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. He said, "With the onset of this holy month, we renew our prayer to God Almighty to protect our country and keep away dangers, evils, and wars, and that all our efforts unite to overcome this difficult phase we are going through."
