Minister of Information Participates in the "International Strategic Communication Summit" in Istanbul

The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Makari, participated in the opening of the International Strategic Communication Summit "Stratcom" in Istanbul, alongside Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Turkish presidential media advisor Fahreddin Altun, and Turkish officials, as well as the Consul of Lebanon in Istanbul, Mazen Kabara. The opening session included a video message sent by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the summit, along with another message from the UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming. Minister Makari delivered a speech at the beginning of the second day of the summit, condemning "Israel's killing of Lebanese journalists in the south," and calling for "reducing hate speech and fake news by engaging youth, technology, and social media, as well as politicians, in this process."
