Media Report: One Dead and Three Injured in Shooting at Ohio Store

Local television channel W.H.I.O. in Ohio and a spokesperson from a hospital reported that at least one person was killed and three others injured in a shooting at a Walmart store in the state on Monday. The police in Beavercreek, Ohio, responded to the shooting and stated there was no ongoing threat to the public. Beavercreek is a city with a population of about 46,000, located just east of Dayton. The police indicated on the social media platform X that they had cleared the building completely and secured it, stating "there is no active threat at this time," without disclosing any details about the potential victims. Witnesses on social media stated that the shooter used an assault rifle. One eyewitness described the shooter on one platform as "a tall white young man" carrying a military-style bag. A spokesperson from the Soin Medical Center confirmed that the hospital received three patients due to the shooting. The police mentioned they would release more information as it became available.
