Belarus: Arrest of

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced today, Friday, the arrest of several individuals he described as "saboteurs," including citizens from Ukraine and Belarus, at the border between the two countries during an "anti-terrorism operation." He stated during an event in Minsk that the detainees "crawled across our borders and transported explosives to commit sabotage primarily in Russia and Belarus." The number of detainees was not mentioned. He added that similar groups are arrested "two or three times every week."
