Mark Regev, advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stated today that "Israel will facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza as fighting resumes there." In response to journalists' questions about whether Israel seeks to establish a buffer zone on the Palestinian side of Gaza after the war, Regev said, "Israel will not allow a situation where fighters from the Palestinian militant group (Hamas) are positioned at the border."
