The Formula 1 World Championship announced today, Tuesday, that Madrid will host the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035 at a new circuit around the IFEMA exhibition center in the capital. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya currently hosts the country's Grand Prix and has a contract that extends beyond the 2026 race. This circuit was not mentioned in the Formula 1 statement.
