The Lebanese cabinet convened for its regular session at the presidential palace in Baabda at 3:00 PM today, led by President Joseph Aoun, with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and the ministers in attendance. The session aimed to address ongoing political, security, and humanitarian developments.
Prior to the cabinet meeting, President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam held discussions focusing on current developments and general conditions.
The cabinet is reviewing an agenda comprising 55 items, including draft laws, memoranda of understanding, proposed legislations, appointments, employment issues, and decrees related to educational affairs, alongside discussions on grants and participation in international meetings and conferences.
Additionally, President Aoun briefed the cabinet on the outcomes of his visits to the United States and Turkey and his talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
