Turkey Hits 25 Targets of Kurdish Militants in Northern Syria and Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that the military launched airstrikes in northern Syria and Iraq, destroying 25 targets belonging to Kurdish militants. The ministry stated in a statement that the operations were carried out in northern Syria and the Metina, Hakurk, and Qandil regions in northern Iraq at 9 PM (18:00 GMT). It mentioned that Turkish forces "neutralized" many militants in the airstrikes, which also resulted in the destruction of 25 targets, including caves, shelters, and storage facilities. Ankara typically uses the term "neutralized" to refer to killing.
