The World Health Organization has announced that the situation in Gaza is alarming, warning of the potential spread of epidemics and diseases. In its statement, it noted that among the displaced, there are nearly 180,000 individuals suffering from upper respiratory infections, along with 136,400 cases of diarrhea, particularly among children under the age of 5. Additionally, there are 5,330 cases of chickenpox, 42,700 cases of rashes, and 4,683 cases of acute jaundice. The organization highlighted the difficulty in treating these conditions due to the collapse of the health sector and the shortage of most types of medications in Gaza.
