Death of 10 Israeli Soldiers in Khan Younis Including Battalion Commander

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that they killed 10 Israeli soldiers from Zero Point in the Abasan al-Kabira area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. They added that they managed to detonate an anti-personnel explosive against an Israeli force in the same area, resulting in casualties among the soldiers. This comes as the Israeli army acknowledged today, Tuesday, the death of two soldiers and the injury of nine in battles in southern Gaza over the past 24 hours. Israeli media revealed the death of a battalion commander in the Israeli army during the fighting in Gaza. According to the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the commander of the 630th battalion, reserve captain Nati Kobi, was killed in a battle in Gaza without specifying its location, raising the army's death toll to 567 since October 7, including 230 killed since the start of the ground offensive on October 27.
