German Government Plans Additional Aid for Gaza Residents

A spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry stated today, Wednesday, that "the German government will take a series of additional measures to support the civilian population in Gaza, both inside and outside the territory," adding that "several ministries will work together on this." During a press conference, the spokesperson said: "This includes several humanitarian airlifts to be carried out before Christmas," adding that "a plane operated by the German Air Force is scheduled to depart for Egypt next Saturday." The aim is to provide incubators and breathing machines for hospitals treating infants in Gaza. Next week, more relief flights will carry tents and other supplies for people who have lost their homes in Gaza.
