UAE Establishes Council for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology

The Abu Dhabi Media Office reported today, Monday, that "the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a new law to establish a Council for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology." It was noted that "the council will be chaired by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, the National Security Adviser, with Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed serving as vice chairman." The office added: "The council aims to develop policies and strategies related to the field of artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi, and to support Abu Dhabi's strategy to make the emirate an attractive hub for investments, partnerships, and exceptional talents in this sector."
