Fahd Bashmi Sings for Palestine

The Bahraini artist Fahd Bashmi has reinterpreted the musical poem "Mawtini" in his voice and with a new musical style, released exclusively as a music video on his YouTube channel. Fahd Bashmi presented the poem "Mawtini" for Palestine and the Gaza Strip, which has been experiencing devastating war for over three months. The poem "Mawtini" is considered an unofficial anthem for Arab peoples due to its strong national sentiments and expressions of deep love for the homeland. The poem "Mawtini" was written by the late Palestinian poet Ibrahim Touqan and composed by the late Lebanese musician Mohamed Fleifel, with the new version featuring the arrangement by Akram Ahmed Kim. It is worth noting that Fahd Bashmi's latest song, titled "Sahir Al-Quloub," has garnered over 300,000 views within eight months of its release on YouTube.
