Lebanon Women's Rugby Union Team Continues Preparations for the Arab Championship

With full commitment, high energy, and great enthusiasm, the Lebanon women's rugby union team continues its daily preparations under the guidance of head coach Ruben Hashash and the supervision of team manager and director of the Lebanese Rugby Union, Marwan Azar. This is in anticipation of their participation in the ninth Arab Rugby Union Championship (Sevens) for men and the fourth for women, which will take place on February 16 and 17. Ten teams will participate in the men's category, while eight teams will compete in the women's category. The Lebanese Rugby Union has confirmed the participation of the women's team to the Arab Rugby Union, while apologizing for the men's team's absence. The championships will be hosted in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The team’s training sessions are held at the Al-Ahed Club field along the airport road, the BFA field, and the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh.
