Blinken Urges Israel to Use "All Possible Means" to Bring Aid to Gaza

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Israel on Tuesday to use "all possible means" to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza, stating that "the current situation in the overcrowded sector is unacceptable and cannot continue." In remarks before his meeting with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at the U.S. State Department, Blinken said: "There is an opportunity for an immediate ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas." He pointed out that "the responsibility now lies with Hamas to participate in those talks."
