The UAE's Cybersecurity Council confirmed the success of national cybersecurity systems in thwarting unsuccessful cyberattacks carried out by cyber-terrorist groups targeting several vital and strategic sectors in the country. The Cybersecurity Council explained that emergency cybersecurity systems were activated in collaboration with all relevant authorities, which were able to professionally and efficiently preemptively respond to these failed terrorist cyberattacks and deter anyone attempting to undermine the security and capabilities of the nation. The Cybersecurity Council also stated that the identities of these terrorist groups and the locations from which they launched their cyberattacks were identified, and the incidents were managed according to protection systems and cybersecurity policies.
