Islamic Jihad: Delegation Arrives in Cairo for Talks

A member of the Islamic Jihad movement told Reuters today, Sunday, that a delegation from the Palestinian movement has arrived in Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian security officials. The official, who is familiar with the discussions, stated that they will focus on ways to end the "Israeli aggression." The movement is holding several Israelis in the Gaza Strip. The Islamic Jihad has so far rejected any new agreements for exchanging detainees with Israel before it concludes its military campaign in the territory, which is home to approximately 2.3 million people.
