The "Syrian Observatory" announced today, Wednesday, that 18 people were killed, including 4 members of the "National Defense," and 16 others were injured, with over 50 missing, in an attack carried out by gunmen believed to be affiliated with "ISIS" in the Kabajeb desert area in southern Deir ez-Zor. The victims were surrounded in the area while collecting "truffles" and were targeted with automatic weapons. Following this, fierce clashes erupted between "ISIS" and "National Defense" forces, resulting in the burning of 12 vehicles at the conflict site.
