Title: Mikati in Karantina: What Happened Will Be the Focus of Administrative and Judicial Pursuit

Prime Minister Najib Mikati inspected today, Saturday, the efforts to open roads that were blocked by floods due to the severe weather storm affecting Lebanon, particularly in the Karantina area and the Beirut River. During his tour, the Prime Minister confirmed that "what happened will be the focus of administrative and judicial pursuit, to determine responsibilities and hold accountable those at fault." He reiterated his appreciation for the "Civil Defense and Beirut Fire Brigade teams for their efforts in rescuing citizens trapped by the floods, opening roads, and conducting emergency rescue operations." The Prime Minister was accompanied on the tour by Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud, who explained to him the reasons that led to the flooding of the Beirut River, the emergency measures taken, and the procedures that will be completed after the storm subsides to prevent reoccurrence.
