The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced today, Wednesday, that at least 288 displaced persons in its shelters in Gaza have been killed since October 7, when Hamas attacked Israel. It continued in a post on the platform "X" that "271 Palestinians, including 69 children, have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, making it the deadliest year for Palestinians in the West Bank since the UN began recording casualties." The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that 271 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since October 7.
