Six Dead and Two Injured in Landmine Explosion in Deir ez-Zor

Six Syrian citizens were killed and two others injured due to the explosion of a landmine in the southern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The "SANA" agency reported that the six citizens lost their lives when a mine left behind by ISIS exploded in the vehicle transporting them in the Hrebisha area while they were heading to collect truffles. Al-Muthanna Al-Youssef, Director of the Al-Assad Hospital in Deir ez-Zor, stated to the agency that "six fatalities were received at the hospital due to shrapnel injuries to various parts of the body," and that two others sustained serious injuries from the landmine explosion and have been placed under intensive medical care.
