Death of a Patient in Ambulance Accident in Southwestern Morocco

A person died and two others were seriously injured on Saturday in an accident involving an ambulance on National Road No. 1 between the city of Tiznit and Guelmim, within the jurisdiction of the Akhssas commune in southwestern Morocco. The Moroccan newspaper "Hespress" reported that "the accident, which occurred at the Ajni Imgharn area, resulted from the overturning of an ambulance belonging to the Akhssas commune, leading to the death of a patient who was on board, as well as serious injuries to the driver and another individual accompanying him, who were transported to the emergency department of Hassan I Regional Hospital in Tiznit for necessary treatment." Moroccan royal gendarmerie and local authorities arrived at the scene to open an investigation into the circumstances and details of the accident and to take all necessary measures in such cases.
