Start of the Third Phase of "Promise of Truth" Operations in Iraq

The Security Media Cell in Iraq announced today, Sunday, the launch of the third phase of "Promise of Truth" operations. According to a statement from the cell, "Based on accurate intelligence information and field planning by the Joint Operations Command, various security sectors continue to pursue the remaining elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs." It indicated that "the third phase of the (Promise of Truth) operation has begun with support from aerial forces within the operational sectors of Diyala, Salah al-Din, Duz, Kirkuk, Samarra, and from several axes." It added that "the operations of the security forces are ongoing to enhance security and stability, pursue the remaining defeated ISIS cells, destroy their hideouts, and cleanse the land of their filth."
