The General Directorate of National Security announced today, Wednesday, that security inspection officers at the arrival area of Tunis-Carthage Airport discovered that a foreign traveler was in possession of 27 capsules suspected to contain the drug "cocaine," which she had hidden securely in sensitive areas of her body. The same source added that by involving customs services for a thorough search, an additional 24 capsules were found with her. Consequently, a total of 51 capsules, weighing approximately 780 grams, were confiscated by customs authorities, and a report was filed. The public prosecutor in Tunisia authorized the transfer of the case, along with the confiscated items, to the Narcotics Fighting Department in El Gorjani for further handling.
