Following widespread social media reports about Daglo's death, he released an audio recording via his official Twitter account, urging the forces to connect with citizens in neighborhoods and understand their needs. He emphasized the necessity to combat rogue elements and thieves who terrorize people. Daglo warned against what he referred to as "the coup plotters who conspire to destroy Sudan and its people," stating, "We are on high alert for them, and we are ready to assist and provide essential services in areas where our forces are present."
