The Baghdad Provincial Council elected Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi as the new governor of the capital this evening, Monday. The Iraqi News Agency "INA" reported that the Baghdad Provincial Council held a session and elected Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi as the new governor of the capital. Earlier today, the Baghdad Provincial Council voted to elect Ammar Al-Qaisi as its president.
