Egyptian officials have urged Tel Aviv to open its ports to facilitate the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip. An official stated that "the planned waterway aims to meet media needs only, but in reality, there is no alternative to entering aid through the Rafah crossing, and Israel is the main problem in this context."
