The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniya, saluted the fighters on the front lines, highlighting the heroic role Gaza is playing these days. He stated, "The continued aggression on Gaza will destabilize the entire region, which has now become a powder keg." He continued, "This battle will achieve the highest goals. The resistance in Gaza is doing well. I call for supporting the resistance in every possible way to write the final chapters of the occupation."
He reiterated his call for "all experts and strategists to discuss the post-occupation phase because it will end, and it will be a resounding defeat." He added, "All presidents, leaders, and opinion holders must affirm the legitimacy of the resistance on Palestinian land because it is a national liberation movement. We must win in the battle of awareness, revenues, and precise description of what is occurring on the ground." He emphasized the need to open all borders unconditionally, saying, "Let the people of the nation everywhere be in a rising popular wave."
