Israeli Machine Gun Fire on Surrounding Forests Near Aita al-Shaab in the Morning

The Israeli army fired heavy machine guns from its positions opposite the town of Aita al-Shaab at the adjacent forests. Additionally, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly throughout the night until morning over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the Litani River, coinciding with the release of illuminating bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line. The Israeli army escalated its attacks the previous evening, as aircraft targeted the outskirts of the town of Qlayleh, resulting in the death of a member of Hamas and injuries to others, according to an official statement. This was accompanied by artillery shelling on villages in the western and central sectors, as well as on Mount Labouna and Mount Al-Alam.
