Israel released Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi early Thursday morning among 30 prisoners freed in the sixth batch, as part of the temporary truce in the Gaza Strip, following her arrest again on November 6 during an Israeli army raid in the West Bank cities. A Palestinian official stated that she was released after being held in Damon prison near Haifa. Tamimi (22 years old) was arrested on charges of "incitement to violence," a claim her mother denied, stating it was based on a false social media post. Ahed is one of hundreds arrested by Israel as part of a crackdown in the West Bank, coinciding with the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7.
