Pope Francis called today, Saturday, for the end of all wars, denouncing the "winds of the Cold War" and other injustices. In his sermon during the Easter Mass held at St. Peter's Cathedral, he spoke about the bitterness, fear, and disappointment that many feel today. He stated, "We have felt powerless and frustrated in the face of the power of evil, the conflicts that tear apart relationships, the logic of calculations and indifference that seems to govern society, the cancer of corruption, the spread of injustice, and the winds of the Cold War."
Pope Francis appeared to be in good condition during the Easter Vigil Mass, after being advised by his doctors to be cautious following his hospitalization last week.
