Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat stated that the country is determined to achieve a target trade volume of $100 billion with the United States. This was said during his speech at the 13th Turkish Investment Conference, held in New York yesterday. Bolat expressed confidence that the United States and Turkey "should be closer to each other than ever before" and should cooperate more "to overcome current challenges." He reminded that Turkey attracted $255 billion in investments between 2002 and 2023. Bolat pointed out that Turkey's exports exceeded $254 billion last year, noting that exports are "one of the main driving forces of economic growth in Turkey."
